Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Laredo, is herein soliciting bids for the purchase of dirt and hauling services for a Landfill Project located at 6912 HWY 359. The successful bidder shall furnish the earthen soil and shall deliver the material to the Solid Waste facility. The successful bidders shall furnish all equipment and appurtenances needed to load their own trailers and perform the service. The successful bidder shall be available 8 hours per day (Monday• Saturday), and be able to respond within eight hours of notice any time of the day or night. 4.1 The City estimates approximately 86,000 tons for the Landfill Project. The quantity listed are estimates only. The City of Laredo reserves the right to purchase more or less than the quantities indicated depending on the demand of the project. The City's needs shall dictate the amount of soil to be purchased. The bid pricing shall be F.O.B delivered and unloaded at the Solid Waste facility. 4.2 The vendor must have a minimum 4 trucks working per day. Provide and Deliver dirt to City of Laredo Landfill located at 6912 Hwy 359. Approximate dirt that may be required during the length of the project is 86,000 tons. Quantity is an estimate and may change during the duration of the Landfill project. It could be more or less depending on the need. Unit cost shall include delivery FOB Laredo, supervision, permits, transportation, machinery, and any other cost to complete the work.
