Flood Control Channel Repairs – Several sites were damaged by floodwaters during the events. Severe erosion and sediment deposits occurred. In some locations, erosion has undermined or is threatening to undermine adjacent structures and pavement. Repairs would restore the eroded channel bank using appropriate method of repair for stable slope. Methods may include use of sheet piling, geotextile bags, timber bents, rip rap, anchored toe, or other. Selected method of repair must meet sound engineering judgement but must strongly consider schedule due to the tight funding deadline, and cost. Sanitary Sewer Repairs – Conduct repairs to damaged sanitary sewer collection system. Damages may include restoration of pipes and manholes undermined by erosion and possible relocation of damaged lines and structures. Storm Sewer Repairs – Repair erosion damages around manholes and address damaged roadway culverts. Undermined culverts may be repaired and/or replaced, as needed.
