Specifications include, but are not limited to: 11.2.1 Working with DFPS Center for Learning and Organizational Excellence (CLOE), and using their own training courses, the Contractor will provide training courses on the following topics to DFPS staff: 11.2.1.1 Instructional design for new designers; 11.2.1.2 Instructional design for eLearning; 11.2.1.3 Instructional Design for the virtual trainer; 11.2.1.4 Instructional Design for the virtual trainer; 11.2.1.5 Conducting training needs analysis; 11.2.1.6 Developing and delivering blended learning training; 11.2.1.7 Consulting skills trainers and developers; 11.2.1.8 New Trainers Survival Skills; 11.2.1.9 Maximizing engagement in a virtual classroom; 11.2.1.10 Converting traditional classroom to virtual classroom training; 11.2.1.11 Presentation skills; 11.2.1.12 Gamification; 11.2.1.13 Interactive virtual training; 11.2.1.14 Microlearning; 11.2.1.15 Trainer Bootcamp for the new trainer; 11.2.1.16 Project Management; 11.2.1.17 Evaluation of Training; 11.2.1.18 Developing Assessments to measure Transfer of Learning. 11.2.2 For each training course that the Contractor provides to DFPS staff: 11.2.2.1 DFPS will determine the course(s) in Section 11.2.1 that the Contractor will provide at a training session. 11.2.2.2 Number of DFPS staff participants will be from 1 to 50. If a DFPS registered participant is unable to attend the courses, they will be allowed to re-register later with no additional cost. 11.2.2.3 Contractor will provide training materials (see Section 11.2.3.1). 11.2.2.4 The Contractor will track course attendance training and will provide DFPS CLOE Staff with an attendance tracking roster upon completion of each course’s session. 11.2.3 The training materials will consist of what is required for DFPS course participants to successfully complete the course and to use as part of their job duties. 11.2.3.1 For each course training materials will be of quality design, accessible (see Section 11.2.3.4), and will consist of, at minimum: 11.2.3.1.1 Trainer manual with clear objectives; 11.2.3.1.2 Key techniques, concepts, strategies, methods, and transfer of learning activities; 11.2.3.1.3 Discussions among participants; 11.2.3.1.4 Participant course manuals; 11.2.3.1.5 Handouts and job aids; 11.2.3.1.6 Quality audio, videos and PowerPoint presentation (if applicable); and 11.2.3.1.7 Templates, and Tools. 11.2.3.2 DFPS reserves the right to review all materials and request edits to the content or materials. If the training materials are developed specifically for DFPS, DFPS will own these materials. 11.2.3.3 The Contractor will provide all relevant material and handouts to each participant at the start and, or during the course session. Verification of materials will be listed and will be emailed to DFPS CLOE staff. 11.2.3.4 DFPS and Texas law requires all aspects of these courses and services provided under this IFB’s resulting contract to be accessible and reasonably usable by individuals with disabilities, contractor must comply with Texas EIR Accessibility statutes and rules found at 1 Texas Administrative Code Part 10, Chapter 21, which can be accessed at Texas Administrative Code. 11.2.3.5 If in person, the sessions will need to take place in the state of Texas, in locations in Arlington, Austin, Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio. The Contractor will be responsible for securing meeting space for in-person trainings. Any travel expense will need to be included in the Exhibit D-Pricing Sheet. 11.2.3.6 If it is virtual, the Contractor and DFPS will mutually decide on the training sessions, which includes but is not limited to Go to, MS Teams or Zoom. If these parties cannot agree on the format, then DFPS will have the final decision on which platform will be utilized. 11.2.3.7 Thirty days before the course date starts, the Contractor will provide access to DFPS for testing all technical course requirements, including the delivery platforms used, to ensure DFPS Training Staff are able to access and use the training. 11.3 The Contractor will provide any legal documents, requirements, or agreements for DFPSs review. 11.4 Contractor will prepare additional written reports for DFPS when requested and in the format required by DFPS. 11.5 Contractor will comply with the DFPS Vendor Uniform Terms and Conditions (Exhibit B) and DFPS Vendor Supplemental and Special Conditions (Exhibit C).
