The Statewide Procurement Division (SPD), a division of CPA, requests sealed responses for printing of business cards. A major customer for these items is the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Specifications include, but are not limited to: (1) Paper stock: a. Standard card size: 2 inches x 3.5 inches (+/-.05”); b. Paper: 80lb, white; c. Shape: Rectangular with square corners; d. Brightness: i.Minimum brightness: 90; ii.Maximum brightness: 93; e. Uncoated; f. No.1 grade; g. Thickness: i. Minimum: 14 pt/0.014 inches; ii. Maximum: 18 pt/0.018 inches; (2) Printing: a. Must be able to print front and back sides. b. Normal registration (colors cannot touch and must be 1/16 inch apart); c. Must be able to print a minimum of one (1) logo, seal or artwork, requested and provided by the Customer, prior to printing. d. Customers will have the option to accept or reject overruns and underruns. e. Screens and bleeds not allowed. f. Contractor will bear all expenses for communications and delivery of proofs. (3) Inks: a. Pantone Matching System; b. CMYK; (4) UOM: Box; Respondent must provide minimum quantity breaks of 250 and 500 cards per boxes; a. Quantity break of 250 cards per box; b. Quantity break of 500 cards per box; c. Quantity break of 1000+ cards per box (optional); (5) Minimum order quantity (MOQ): 250 identical cards per box
