Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) system. The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers solicitations for HHS. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids on behalf of the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Laboratory to establish contract(s) for preventive maintenance services and asneeded parts and repair services for two (2) Gold Standard Diagnostics ThunderBolt EnzymeLinked Immunosorbent Assays (ELISA) Analyzers. The DSHS Laboratory provides Strongyloidiasis, Schistosomiasis, and Chagas disease testing services using the ThunderBolt ELISA Analyzers. These instruments must be maintained to ensure testing services can be provided without interruption. a) Scheduled preventive maintenance services with the DSHS Lab designee. All services shall be performed in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. 1. One (1) visit per year by a manufacturer-trained service engineer certified to work on the ThunderBolt equipment to include but not limited to calibration, consumable replacement, maintenance of wear items, and cleaning.
