This project will consist of removing one (1) jack assembly, installing a protective casing around the jack assembly, and installing a new jack assembly. Both elevators will require demolishing the elevator interior, installing the new elevator interior, installing a new elevator pump, installing a new pump housing unit, installing a new controller, replacing the elevator hydraulic fluid, performing elevator shaft updates, performing any necessary fireproofing, performing fire suppression updates, and all other work described in the plan set and specifications. The contractor will also be responsible for bringing both elevators back up to full operation after construction is complete, including providing the replacement hydraulic fluid, procuring the requisite elevator permits, and performing testing necessary to meet safety requirements. Upon completion of the project, the Contractor shall provide METRO with applicable manuals, safety data sheets, and other relevant information.
