The City of Dallas (City) Department of Transportation and Public Works is seeking statements of qualifications (SOQ) from experienced firms who can demonstrate they have the resources, experience, and qualifications to provide services for a series of studies to guide investment and sequencing of improvements to best take advantage of upcoming infrastructure investments including, but not limited to, the reconstruction of IH-30, the replacement of I-345 from an elevated freeway to a trenched highway spanned by deck parks, a new Convention Center, and potential high-speed rail line(s) including a multi-modal station. The study areas may include Downtown, Uptown, West End, Design District, Victory Park, the Arts District, Deep Ellum, Cedars, and Fair Park/South Dallas. Studies should take into consideration pedestrians, bicyclists, transit riders, and vehicular traffic into, though, and out of the study areas, as well as land use and urban design.
