Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this Request for Bid (RFB) is to supply and install audio video needs including, but not limited to, control panels, audio speakers with all supporting material, allow for separate zones, and wireless microphone capabilities within event spaces.; Grounding: Ground all MDF and IDF equipment (rack, cable trays, etc.); Cable Type: • Cat6e; • Brand (Belden, COMSCOPE, Panduit); • Color: o Blue- Data; o Orange- Wi-Fi; o Green- Cameras; o Yellow- Access Control (S2)(reference only); Jacks and Face Plates: • Color: o Wall Jacks- Blue; o Face Plates shall match the electrical covers, depending on Job scope; • Keystone: o Leviton; o 4 port face plates with blanks (for unused ports) unless larger capacity is needed; • Minimum requirements for data drops within designated office spaces: o Three locations, each location having a quad plate with 2 drops per location; o One drop located on each wall with the exception of the office entrance wall; Mounting Equipment: • 4 post rack: o 45RU; o Mounted facing door with a minimum of 34” away from wall or sufficient space to work behind rack (As room size permits); o Aluminum; o Black in color; Cable Management: • A slack look of 10’ (min) should be added to each drop at the top of the conduit or header penetration; • All cable runs should be neatly bundled and follow a single path down hallways or runways until drops are branched out to their determined locations; • Ladder Rack: o Black; o 12” wide; • Vertical: o Panduit NetRunner Vertical Cable Management (double sided); • Horizontal: o Panduit, Ortronics, ICC, finger duct horizontal management (single sided); o 48 port patch panel use 2RU management; o 24 port patch panel use 1RU management
