Specifications include, but are not limited to: UT Health San Antonio (UTHSA), in collaboration with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), is seeking proposals for one vendor to provide statewide recovery-oriented training and technical assistance to clinical organizations and environments, for the purpose of enhancing and maintaining recovery and person-centered practices that better support the people, families and communities they serve. The selected vendor will work in collaboration with UTHSA, HHSC, training entities, certifying entities, universities, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) community stakeholders, local, regional, and statewide organizations along with other clinical recovery experts. The selected vendor will provide or subcontract the delivery of accessible (online, in person or virtual) specialized training to re-orient behavioral health agencies, programs and systems in Texas towards a more recovery-focused and person-centered culture necessary to address the growing need for implementation of recovery principles into clinical organizations across a variety of service delivery settings.
