Specifications include, but are not limited to: This RFP will cover the first six (6) floors of the hospital and will only need 104 televisions set up with the ability to scale the additional 48 rooms as the seventh and eighth floor rooms are built out. UTHSA will provide the required televisions which will be 43” LG 0 UR340C9 series as well as pillow remotes for all televisions for the 144 patient rooms and eight Emergency Rooms. UTHSA will be responsible for installation of the 43” televisions. The Awarded Proposer shall provide UTHSA with the following services and equipment: 5.4.1 Collaboration and Installation: A. Collaborate with the UTHSA networking team to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize the infotainment system to function properly; B. Provide and/or perform design, implementation, installation, configuration, and training of infotainment system, and; C. Fully install a functioning infotainment system within the MSRH environment. 5.4.2 Programing Services: A. Programming through a cable tv, satellite, or IPTV Overlay distribution system; B. Programming will include entertainment, foreign language, and educational programming, network off-channels; and two local origination channels for UTHSA programming; C. An Emergency Alert System (Omnilert) , along with all associated hardware/software and equipment necessary; D. Proposer will be responsible for securing all program licensing, including copyright fees, necessary to acquire television services for the MSRH. UTHSA will select the mix of programming from all channel offerings available; E. High Definition (HD) programming should be delivered in 1080i resolution or a minimum of 720p, and; F. Provide a listing of any additional programming that can be provided along with the associated costs of adding such programming.
