The Trinity River Authority of Texas (Authority), is a conservation and reclamation district of the State of Texas created by TEX. REV. CIV. ANN. art. 8280-188, and operating pursuant to special and general law. The Authority invites the submission of a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from interested firms (Firms or Firm) for the provision of professional services related to parks and recreation master planning for Authority owned recreational facilities and undeveloped land. More specifically, the expansion of Wolf Creek Park located on the shores of Lake Livingston in San Jacinto County. Firms are encouraged to submit qualifications and contact information in response to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to assist the Authority in creating a list of Firms that will be provided the opportunity to submit proposals to perform services associated with Parks and Recreational Master Planning. Please note, this qualification process is only for professional services in compliance with 30 TEX. ADMIN. CODE § 292.13(4). This two-step process is unique to river authorities and required by the rules of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
