Specifications include, but are not limited to:At a minimum, the current discontinued parking fee computers must be replaced. The current equipment is an Amano AGP5200 system running on Windows 98. All existing conduit, power cabling, inductive loops, and data cable are serviceable and do not need to be replaced. The SPB is interested in a cost effective solution to continue current parking operations in the Bullock Texas State History Museum parking garage as well as options to upgrade the system in the future to an automated pay station system. Any proposed new system/equipment must meet the following minimum requirements: 1. Allow the garage to continue the current ability to conduct cash and credit sales, process refunds, and accept parking vouchers; 2. Allow programming of variable parking rates for special events; 3. Provide an automated vehicle counter to track the number of occupied/unoccupied spaces; 4. Ability to raise either of the parking garage gate arms remotely from any of the parking garage cashier booths; 5. Ability to use the proposed upgraded equipment in potential future system upgrades; 6. Ability to generate a time‐stamped ticket and allow for payment at the parking garage exit. Secondary goals for the new system include: 1. Ability to generate scannable custom parking vouchers; 2. Ability to access the POS system via the internet to run reports from other agency locations; 3. Provide password or key protected digital signage that is easily updated by agency staff; 4. Ability to upgrade the system to use with automated pay stations
