1. Various grease traps shall be pumped and cleaned in June and during the Christmas holiday school break and /or as often as necessary. AISD child Nutrition Department will contact the successful bidder prior to traps being pumped and cleaned. 2. The drain line shall be inspected and cleaned if necessary in the 45 angle. 3. Two schools, Amarillo High School & Palo Duro High School, have approximately 2000 gallon traps, the other 51 schools have approximately 800 gallon traps. 4. In schools where traps open to the inside of the building, the successful bidder shall deodorize the room, hall, or basement after the trap is opened. 5. Successful bidder shall invoice the District promptly after servicing the grease trap showing the date of service, AISD work order number, and the trap capacity. 6. Pertains to Alternate bid: Sewer lines from grease trap to city main sewer line shall be cleaned and back washed as needed. Cleaning sewer lines shall be priced according to the number of men and their hourly rate required on each line. The cost of equipment shall also be shown. 7. This contract shall begin February 3, 2012 and may be renewed for a period of two (2) additional years at the option of AISD, however, it may be terminated by either party by giving a 15 day written notice. 8. The successful bidder shall receive calls from the Child Nutrition Office for unscheduled pumping of grease trap. Invoices to show date of service, capacity of trap and are to be signed by cafeteria manager or head custodian. No additional specifications were given.
