Musical Instruments-Repairs, Service and routine Maintenance: Humble ISD is searching for companies that excel in providing quality repairs of musical instruments for the Fine Arts Department in our District. The processes used to care for hundreds of instruments can be complicated and at times difficult to control. In addition to experienced craftsmen making repairs, the need to schedule inspections, processing quotes for repairs, pricing of requests for supplies, record keeping for pick-up and delivery of instruments and the prompt and accurate invoicing to the District are some of the key elements in selecting the right company to service Humble ISD’s account. 1. Experience of Staff – provide a work resume for the craftsperson that will be servicing Humble ISD. If no resume is available, please provide what training has been completed; Schools attended; Work History, Instruments the person is factory qualified to repair and service; any other relevant information. Please attach information on the “Response Attachments” tab. 2. Company Experience – provide a “letter of introduction” which includes the following: o Number of years in business o Number of total employees, number of employees exclusively handling repairs, service and maintenance. o Customer Service – philosophy, procedures and contact information o Listing of companies that your firm is an authorized dealer, warranty service provider for.
