The Texas A&M University System (the “A&M System”) is soliciting statements of qualifications from law firms interested in representing the A&M System under the direction and supervision of the A&M System Office of General Counsel and its members in the areas of law. Representation and advice regarding matters concerning air travel, aircraft and airport requirements. Representation for related legal and business concerns of the TAMU System Offices, including (i) Construction agreements and compliance, (ii) FBO/Ground Lease contract development/renewal (ii) Sublease agreements, (iii) Concessionary (rental car) contract negotiations, (iv) Cease and desist orders for items directly impacting airport operations, (v) Height variance compliance and determination/advisement and legal support (for complex scenarios to include enforcement), and (vi) Aeronautical partner agreements and guarantees (air carrier incentive agreements for what is allowed vs. not allowed), (vi) Conflict resolution support. Representation and advice regarding a wide variety of bankruptcy and creditors’ rights issues, including all aspects of proceedings under any chapter of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, regardless of the jurisdiction in which the matter is pending.
