1. Vendor must provide the following services for the on on-site preventative maintenance and calibration of three Netzsch DSR units: MAL1129354, MAL 1500520, and MAL1500531. To include: 1.1 Unlimited service visits, including travel, parts, and labor 1.2 Verification of calibration and software updates during each visit. 1.3 Annual software updates and annual preventative maintenance 1.4 In house repair at vendors facility if on-site repair is not possible. 2. The following maintenance and calibration services must be performed during each scheduled preventative maintenance visit: 2.1 Netzsch DSR (Dynamic Shear Rheometer) to include: 2.1.1. Air Bearing Inspection & Cleaning 2.1.2. Motor Cooling System Check 2.1.3. Check and replace filters, inspect seals, and verify airflow in temperature control systems. 2.1.4. Ensure the chuck mechanism and measuring systems are properly aligned to avoid compliance errors. 2.1.5. Ensures compatibility with latest ASTM and MSHTO standards 2.1.6. Validates Peltier plate or environmental chamber temperature accuracy across the test range. 2.1. 7. Confirms precision in gap resolution (often down to 0.1 µm) for consistent sample geometry. 2.1.8. Ensures the axial force sensor is accurate, especially critical for gap control and sample loading. 2.1.9. Verifies the rheometer's torque transducer across its full range 2.1.10. Inspect plate and cone geometries for wear, scratches, or contamination. 2.1.11. Inspect lift motor and guide rails for smooth operation. 2.1.12. Lubricate mechanical components if recommended by manufacturer. 2.1.13. Clean sample chamber and ensure no residue buildup. 2.1.14. Inspect internal wiring for signs of overheating or damage. 2.1.15. Check USB, Ethernet, and power connections for wear or looseness. 3. Equipment must be returned to optimal operational conditions.
