More than 50,000 students are enrolled in TCC's associate degree and technical programs, making it the sixth largest among Texas colleges and universities. Tarrant County College District (TCCD) is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced firms with expertise and resources to provide a hosted Website Academic Catalog and Curriculum Management System and related services. It is TCCD’s intent to award the highest ranked respondent to this RFP. ItisTCCD’sintenttoreplacethe c u r r e n t p r o c e s s w i t h a s c a l a b l e a n d s e c u r e W e b s i t e f o r A c a d e mic Catalog and Curriculum Management System (“The System”) for access by TCCD’s Catalog Administrator team and access by TCCD’s students and staff. The offered solution will enable integration with other enterprise technologies such as academic curriculum processes, catalog production and TCCD’s ERP/SIS and may be 508 compliant. S COPE OF W ORK I. The Academic Catalog and Curriculum Management System must provide the following required functionality: 1. The Academic Catalog and Curriculum Management System must be fully integrated with the Colleges other embedded software and processes in order to meet the demands of TCC’s size and complexity. 2. The System should be web-based. In addition, no additional software outside existing standard software at the college will need to be installed to access the Academic Catalog and Curriculum Management System. The System must be accessible using industry standard web browsers including but not limited to Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, etc. 3. The System must integrate with other enterprise technologies such as academic curriculum process, c a t a l o g p r o d u c t i o n a n d T C C D ’ s E R P / S I S ( c u r r e n t l y Ellucian Colleague). 4. The System must allow migration from TCCD’s current ERP to a different ERP, from Colleague to Banner or PeopleSoft or other to be determined, without service interruption. 5. The System must be able to interface with various statewide processes and portals (e.g., Workforce Education Course Manual and Academic Course Guide Manual). 6. The System must allow for real-time information upload and corrections. 7. The Academic Catalog must provide a comprehensive search function within the portal. 8. The Academic Catalog and Curriculum Management System must have archiving capabilities and be searchable for an unlimited number of academic years
