Specifications include, but are not limited to: Tract #1: #151 Natha Howell Elementary 7.706 acres, more or less. Tract #2: #207 Westpark Elementary 31.084 acres, more or less Said lease shall be awarded, at the discretion of the Board of Education of the Fort Worth Independent School District, to the highest and best bidder. All consideration shall be paid in cash. All considerationwill be received into the general operating fund of the District. Any portion of any bid that is not set forth in cash, that has any requirement that it not be received into the general operating fund of the District, or that has any expenditure restriction will be deemed invalid and will be stricken from the bid as if it were not presented or otherwise made part of the bid. It is the intention of the District to award the lease to the highest and best bidder submitting a sealed bid in accordance with these instructions; provided that, if in the judgment of the District the bids submitted do not represent the fair value of such lease, the District will reject all bids. No bids will be considered unless submitted prior to the specified public bid opening. The District reserves the right to reject any all bids for such lease at its discretion. However, should any bid be accepted, such lease shall be executed upon a form acceptable to the District and the Lessee therein, a sample oil and gas contract is enclosed. The District shall determine the highest and best bidder according to the terms submitted for the mineral lease, the reputation and quality of the bidder’s oil and gas services including but not limited to the bidder’s financial ability to provide the oil and gas services, safety record, compliance history and any other relevant information that the bidder submits to the District for consideration.
