1. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of this Contract, including the goods and/or services needed by the City, the statement of the goods and/or services offered by the Contractor, and the City’s acceptance of the Contractor’s statement, are set forth below. 1.1. PURPOSE Provide certified electric utility instructors for Occupational Safety and Health Administration Electrical Transmission and Distribution Training. 1.1.1 Electrical Transmission and Distribution Training shall include: 10-hour and 20-Hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration Electric, Transmission, and Distribution certification training for workers in the electric utility industry, including those involved in the construction, maintenance, and operation of high-voltage electrical systems and transmission lines. Training for the 10-hour OSHA ET&D training estimated to be approximately 200 candidates initially, and 25 annually, with class sizes ranging from 15 to 25 students, unless Austin Energy and the Contractor make other arrangements. Training for the 20-hour OSHA ET&D training will be provided on an as needed basis and at the request of Austin Energy Project Manager.
