The selected consultant or firm shall submit a comprehensive written proposal outlining the following areas: 3.2.1 Accreditation and Standards • Assess and provide consultation to improve the overall academic quality of anesthesia education. • Develop a comprehensive curriculum that covers both the scientific and practical aspects of anesthesia, incorporating the latest medical advancements and best practices into the educational content. • Writing and submitting the self-study for accreditation that meets the requirements set by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA). • Helping programs integrate clinical experience with classroom learning, ensuring students develop both practical skills and a deep understanding of anesthesia principles. 3.2.2 Professional Development • Guiding programs on fostering essential skills, such as patient management, critical care, and the integration of research and scholarship. • Supporting the goal of producing highly competent, board-certified anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists. 3.2.3 Collaboration and Quality Assurance • Working with program directors, faculty, and other stakeholders to ensure the program's goals are met. • Contributing to quality assurance initiatives and the development of policies that enhance the quality of anesthesia care education
