Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for the planting of approximately 510 native trees in 10-15 tree clusters along the NMPI Temporary Construction Easement in the vicinity of Lake Lavon, Texas. Installation, maintenance, and removal of Irrigation systems, including above ground temporary watering systems, to ensure the survival of a minimum of 379 trees at the end of 3-years. This project also includes, clearing and removing cedar trees from USACE property, approximately 118 acres, and reseed with Blackland Prairie Mix, with the intent of starting a native seedbank. The first alternate includes clearing and removing cedar trees from USACE property, approximately 63 acres, and reseed with Blackland Prairie Mix, with the intent of starting a native seedbank. The second alternate includes removing and replacing approximately 3,040 linear feet of barbed wire fence along Lake Road in Lavon, Texas. The inclusion of the alternates in the project will be solely based on the decision made by the District.
