Clinical Services Contractor: The selected contractor will provide comprehensive clinical services to individuals with IDD and co-occurring or at-risk SUD. Responsibilities include: • Conducting individual and group counseling sessions. • Providing clinical education and therapeutic support to individuals, families, and caregivers. • Participating in Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings to assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans. • Designing and implementing clinical interventions tailored to the needs of individuals with IDD and SUD. • Identifying and assessing SUD-related risk factors in individuals with IDD. Developing a customized curriculum focused on: • Drug awareness and prevention education • Risk identification • SUD management and recovery tools for individuals with IDD • Documenting clinical activities and outcomes in accordance with AACOG protocols. 1.3.2.2. Training and Education Services Contractor: The selected contractor will provide SUD-related education and training for professionals, service providers, law enforcement, and caregivers who support individuals with IDD. Responsibilities include: • Delivering community-based training sessions in group homes, ISS settings, and other relevant environments. • Providing educational workshops and materials to: • Help caregivers and professionals identify early signs and risk factors for SUD in individuals with IDD. • Educate on drug awareness and substance abuse trends.
