Specifications include, but are not limited to: SPECIFIC TASKS REQUIRED; A. Contractor must survey facility for fire alarm design including but not limited to all devices and sub devices that will be connected to the fire alarm system. B. Contractor must verify the integrity of all fire alarm related wiring prior to landing wires. C. Contractor must submit all fire construction plans in writing to TMD’s Project Manager prior to any work beginning. D. Contractor must remove and dispose of the old existing fire alarm system. E. Contractor shall only remove the following items if they are deemed unserviceable with written pre-approval from TMD’s Project Manager: 1. current fire sprinkler system, 2. wiring conduit, 3. fire extinguishers. F. Contractor must only provide new and install the following items if they were deemed unserviceable with written pre-approval from TMD’s Project Manager: 1. current fire sprinkler system, 2. wiring conduit, 3. fire extinguishers. G. Contractor shall provide and install new fire alarm wiring throughout Bldg. 946 using Fire Power-Limited Plenum Wire (FPLP) 16/2 and 14/2 to all areas including requiring coverage. H. Contractor must provide, install and initiate one (1) new fire alarm control panel with new circuits boards.
