Provide Certified Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Services (INS/IONM) for support of neuro/spine surgical and other procedures requiring the monitoring of electro-neurodiagnostic data for neurological patients, including twenty-four (24) hour coverage for urgent or emergent spine casestrauma cases, multi-modality monitoring of indicated surgical cases, sensory/moto strip mapping, evoked potentials and compressed spectral arrays procedures. This service would supplement UTHSA’s permanent staff. The Awarded Proposer must own the tangible and movable equipment – to include disposables necessary to provide the services and employs or contracts with persons duly licensed, registered and/or certified in the state of Texas. The University can store the required equipment and disposables – yet it will be the Awarded Proposer’s responsibility to order and bill the University for items used. The goal is to ensure real-time monitoring of neurological function during surgeries to reduce the risk of injury to the nervous system. Will consist of Preoperative and postoperative consultation , data interpretation and reporting, On-site and remote monitoring by certified technologists and neurologists, and compliance with industry regulations and hospital policies.
