Specifications include, but are not limited to:The vendor shall provide a turnkey NAC solution to include but not limited to hardware, software, design, implement, configure, deploy and provide ongoing maintenance/support for a fully functional identity management / network access control solution across diverse devices (HCTRA Owned and BYOD) and applications. The turnkey solution should be provided with high availability in mind via a phased approach method. The volume and diversity of mobile devices (BYOD) on Harris County network continue to rise, and so does the need to ensure that every devise connecting to the network (wired or wireless) is safe. Harris County expects that the proposed NAC solution will provide complete visibility and control over whom and what is accessing its wired and wireless networks at all times. Harris County expects that vendors responding to this RFP will describe the vendor shall fulfill the requirements of this RFP. Vendor shall install, configure, deploy and tune a single-stage implementation using a hybrid of existing HCTRA Cisco hardware and software licenses in addition to new hardware to provide port level security. This should be a turnkey solution; vendor provide a solution. Port level security shall restrict non-authorized access of the HCTRA data network. If a user cannot be properly identified or the device user is utilizing is non-compliant the user and the device shall not be permitted access to the HCTRA network. Vendor shall deploy current technology to approximately 800 network ports at the primary location with limited access layer ports, end user devices would be any laptop and or workstations that are connected to a layer 2 switch (Ports are associated to the connection point on the switch). HCTRA Datacenters and other secure facilities that may house non-user devices such as servers will not be managed by the platform. The platform shall be configured to scale beyond the initial deployment location to ensure additional sites may be added in the future. Vendor shall provide a solution beyond scale to accommodate additional growth. HCTRA will manage all servers OS, specified and recommended by vendor.
