Project A – Entrance Walls & Signage The Contractor shall renovate the entrance walls with new lettering and signage. The Contractor shall perform the following: 1. Remove existing lettering and signage from the walls. 2. Level the existing foundation and fill cracks and holes in walls with a concrete base reinforced with fiberglass mesh. A smooth, finished texture will be applied over the base coat, primed, and painted. The facility Representative will determine the color. 3. New lettering and signage will be fabricated and installed on walls. The Contractor shall protect the surrounding area, including fencing, grounds and roads. The Contractor shall remove and dispose of all trash/debris from the work areas daily. Project B – Campus Sidewalk Repairs The Contractor shall repair/replace the sidewalks throughout the facility. Contractor shall perform the following: 1. Remove existing damaged sidewalks at buildings 501, 514, and 523. 2. Level areas and set forms for new 4” deep 6” wide sidewalks. Building 514 sidewalk will be rerouted to form a straight path to the building. 3. Lay 3/8” rebar in all the formed areas. 4. Install new 8” drain lines in formed areas where existing drain lines are located. 5. Pour sidewalks using 3000 PSI concrete. 6. Finish all edges and surfaces of sidewalks. All sidewalks must be ADA-compliant. All materials used on the job shall be equal to or better than the quality of the existing materials. The Contractor shall protect the surrounding area, including roads, parking lots, buildings, and grounds areas. The Contractor shall remove and dispose of all trash/debris from the work areas daily. Any damaged grounds and work areas must be repaired if damaged. Project C – Bldg. 501 Doors, Windows & Security Offices The Contractor shall paint all doors, door frames, and window frames in building 501 and demolish and rebuild the Security workstation located in the lobby. The Contractor shall perform the following: 1. Sand, prime, and paint 52 doors and door frames on both sides. Also, 24 window frames shall only be sanded, primed, and painted on the hallway side. 2. Demolish the current Security office in the lobby. All trash and debris will be removed daily. 3. Build a 9’ by 14’ office in the same location. The walls shall be constructed of metal studs and 5/8” sheetrock. 4. 9’ side walls shall be sheet rocked from floor to ceiling. 5. A 14’ wall shall be sheet rocked on the bottom half and clear glass on the top half of the wall. 6. All sheetrock shall be taped, floated, textured, primed, and painted. 7. A new door and door frame shall be installed on the side wall nearest the hallway, primed, and painted. 8. A 4” rubber cove base shall be installed on all walls. Electrical boxes shall be installed with electrical conduits stubbed up above the ceiling grid. Others will complete the electrical work. The Contractor shall protect the surrounding area, including flooring, walls, windows, and ceiling, and shall maintain a safe work area around building 501. The TCID facility representative shall approve all materials and paint colors used on the job. The Contractor shall remove and dispose of all trash/debris from the work areas daily.
