Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide unarmed mobile security guard (“Security Guards”) to protect ARR employees as they perform job duties in the CBD and other designated areas. The Contractor shall provide these services daily in the early morning hours between 2:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., Central Time, 364 days per year, except on Christmas. ARR or other City Departments may require Security Guards to be held over beyond the scheduled shift end-time. 3.1 Special Events During special events (e.g., Spring Festival Season, SXSW) ARR crews may take longer to clean the CBD. Security Guards’ shift hours shall remain flexible during these times. 3.1.1 SXSW During SXSW, the CBD cleanup range is extended to the entire downtown area. During the event, ARR crew sizes are doubled, and the crew is split in half to clean two areas of the CBD simultaneously. During the SXSW event, an additional Security Guard shall be assigned to follow the additional ARR crew. 3.1.2 The Contractor shall meet with the COM to discuss special event expectations, procedures, and possible overtime five calendar days prior to the event. 3.1.3 In the event a shift extends past 4 hours, a 15-minute break shall be provided.
