Specifications include, but are not limited to: DPS seeks to establish a contract for aircraft maintenance to include the following: • Scheduled and un-scheduled inspections and repairs of DPS fixed wing single engine Cessna 206/208 and Airbus AS350/H125 helicopters. • Scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance on single rotary wing aircraft (examples would include Airbus AS350B2, B3, and H125 aircraft to include all variants. • The Bidder must have performed a minimum of 50 Airbus AS350/H125 maintenance work orders and completed a minimum of 10 “T” inspections in the last 12 months. • The Bidder must be able to perform maintenance repairs and inspections to all variants of Airbus AS350B2, B3, and H125 helicopters and Cessna 206/208 fixed-wing aircraft. • The bidder must be a Garmin Dealer and capable of troubleshooting and performing complex repairs to aircraft avionics and specialized police mission equipment. • The bidder must provide mobile services to respond to any call within the State of Texas 24hours a day 7 days a week. NOTE: If Contractor's primary maintenance location is unavailable, DPS reserves the right to use an available contracted maintenance location to provide the required aircraft maintenance and repairs.Scope of Services – Repair Facility • The Contractor’s repair facility must be located within 50 nautical miles of the Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport (KDAL) FAA Identifier: DAL. Contractor’s Repair station must be accredited with one or both of the following ratings: Airframe Class 3, and Power Plant Class 1. • Contractor’s repair center must employ a minimum (4) FAA licensed Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license holders and have at least (2) Authorized Inspection personnel on staff. The Inspection personnel may hold an Inspection Authorization issued by the Repair Station in Accordance with their Repair Station Quality Control Manual (RSQM) or hold an Inspection Authorization (IA) issued by the FAA. • Contractor’s normal business hours will be no less than Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the ability to conduct after-hours maintenance when required. • Contractor’s repairs, scheduled inspections, and non-scheduled inspections must be completed in IAW with the OEM service manuals and FAA regulations.
