10 SPECIFICATIONS – Hays CISD is seeking pricing for the improvement of existing 400-meter tracks and field events and for the synthetic turf installment at 6 Middle Schools. 10.1 Demolition of existing grass field surfaces including removal and disposal of organic materials and the salvage of existing subgrades soils, to be stockpiled in locations indicated by the owners. Additionally, the removal and disposal of existing tack surfacing and the pulverization of asphalt surfaces of existing 400-meter tracks with pulverized materials being salvaged for re-use. Also, demolition of disposal of other existing items as indicated on the drawings. 10.2 Soil stabilization work at each site as indicated in the drawings 10.3 Earthwork including grading and compaction as indicated in the drawings 10.4 Utility work including storm drain and electrical improvements as indicated in the drawings 10.5 Concrete work as indicated in the drawings 10.6 Soil cement stabilization of existing pulverized asphalt/base mixtures, to be used a new base for new 400-meter track asphalt 10.7 Asphalt work as indicated in the drawings 10.8 Installation of synthetic turf surfacing on the athletic field areas as indicated in the drawings 10.9 Track surfacing work on striping work as indicated in the drawings 10.10 Contractors shall be responsible for providing all materials, labor, and equipment needed for the completion of the work in accordance with Hays CISD Policy.
