TRWD hereby invites Statements of Qualifications (SOQ’s) for Materials Testing firms with specific industry qualifications and certifications. TRWD will be awarding contracts for the complete category only and not the sub-categories listed below. The sub-categories are to enumerate the skillsets the vendors must be capable of providing for a particular Category. The Scope of Work in this section is not comprehensive. Rather, it represents what TRWD anticipates will be needed for these projects. Prospective consultants may recommend improvements to the scope in the project approach section of their SOQ. The selected firm will prepare a comprehensive scope that will be negotiated with TRWD. TRWD expects the selected firm will provide guiding recommendations that benefit TRWD, the project, and the consultant through the scoping phase and into all other phases. The following are the types of services that might be negotiated under a Master Professional Services Agreement: Category A- Field Certified Welding Inspection 1. Certified welding inspection Category B- Soils Compaction, Concrete and HMAC Testing 1. Soils compaction/density testing 2. Lab Testing- Sampling, gradations, lime content, etc. 3. Concrete, Grout, and Flowable Fill- Strength, slump, air content, batch plant 4. Asphalt and flex base – Compaction/density testing, plant
