The vendor shall be responsible for the complete removal, repair, and replacement of Allison transmissions in designated vehicles for Texas A&M Transportation Services. Upon completion of the service, the vendor must return a fully drivable vehicle to the Texas A&M University Transportation Service Center. All transmission rebuilds must utilize only new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts; the use of refurbished or used components will not be accepted under any circumstances. The vendor is expected to deliver the completed work within thirty (30) calendar days from the date the order is placed, contingent upon the availability of the required new OEM parts. Additionally, all transmission services performed must be covered by a one-year, unlimited mileage warranty effective from the date of installation.
