Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected organization or individual will assist us with the short-term and intermediate-term planning and transformation of the Public Housing Operations to become a higher performing organization. We may also request assistance with the day-to-day management of the Public Housing Operations. We request assistance with an assessment of the current organizational structure and service delivery. The selected organization or individual will provide services related analysis of the current organizational structure as well as recommendations for improvements. We may also request services related to the implementation of changes identified. Services requested may have a short-term or intermediate-term planning horizon. The selected organization or individual will assist with the planning of our staffing and resources needs. We may also request advisory services related to our processes for recruiting, selection, hiring, and retention of qualified personnel. The selected organization or individual may also be requested to provide services related to our ongoing selection, hiring, retention, or reassignment processes already underway. The selected organization or individual will assist us with an assessment of our existing management practices and a comparison to best practices in the industry. We may also request assistance related to planning for and implementing changes in our management practices. We may also request services related to communication, training, coaching, and mentoring in the Public Housing Department. Working with property management staff on their involvement with bid specifications and coordinating with contractors, vendors and suppliers. Additionally, assist managers to discuss market trends, ongoing training, contractor service quality and current regulatory issues.
