Specifications include, but are not limited to: LISD strives to align security processes and procedures ____________________ (Optional) with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) best practices for managing risk outlined in the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. LISD’s primary objective is to gather information on Managed Security Service Provider(s)(MSSP) that provide a security management services solution. Solutions submitted should address cyber defense layer monitoring for attacks or malicious activity and ensure critical IT assets are protected from such activities. This RFI should include information for 8x5, 12x5, and 24x7 real time monitoring and event correlation and log analysis coupled with incident response and risk mitigation capabilities, i.e. detecting patterns in logs that would point to possible malicious activity and then alerting appropriate personnel. This RFI is being sought strictly for the purpose of gaining (No Response Required) knowledge of products and services available and their corresponding costs. This RFI should not be construed as intent, commitment, or promise to acquire services, supplies, or solutions offered. No contract will result directly from any response to this RFI. Information submitted in response to this RFI will become the property of Lewisville. LISD will not pay for any information herein requested nor is it liable for any costs incurred by the vendor (s). After information is reviewed by the Technology Committee, services will be prioritized. LISD may schedule presentations after short list is approved.
