Assist the University in indexing and updating real estate title records and duediligence as necessary to manage the University s minerals inventory. Apreliminary inventory of the University s mineral holdings is included as Exhibit 6.5. Please describe in detail how you would prioritize obtaining missing documentation and due diligence items, if any; how you would use on-linere sources to gather and update this information and which on-line resources youhave available; and how you would assist the University in organizing its records including scanned images of documents. Also describe under what circumstances and how you would contact prior mineral interest owners and current operators inorder to update documentation. Please include in your response a description of your procedures and recommendations for curing title issues and how you proposeto do so in a cost-effective manner. Please indicate staff time and costs associated with your proposal and how you would assist us in setting priorities for the efficientuse of funds. Please indicate one-time costs along with any ongoing costs. Pleaseinclude a recommendation for additional information and documentation thatwould, in your professional judgment, help the University achieve its businessobjectives stated in Section 1.2, along with the costs of adding such information.This additional information should be listed as a separate cost option and mightinclude GIS mapping of mineral holdings, linkage to available documentation ofreservoir information, monitoring of proximate drilling, seismic and leasingactivity, documentation of existing bore holes, chain of title, and productioninformation. Please include in your proposal and pricing a separate cost option foron-demand use of landman services, including site visits to courthouses, to obtainhigh priority documentation.
