1. Track Record of Success: Applicants demonstrate a track record of success in developing Evidence of Promise studies 2. Evidence of Promise Study Development: a. Develop and implement an Evidence of Promise study that meets What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) requirements and Magnet Schools Assistance Program definition of an Evidence of Promise study. Ensure all required documentation for the study is completed including all human subject’s protection and WWC required documentation. b. Document implementation progress and programmatic adjustments, meet with district leaders regularly, and provide annual interim summary reports. c. Execute the technical details of the Evidence of Promise study and provide documentation in an Evidence of Promise Summary report including information on the study intervention, goals, measurements, and analysis approach. d. Create protocols and instruments in collaboration with program staff to ensure all tools fulfill rigorous evaluation requirements and provide relevant and actionable feedback to practitioners. e. Provide project management for the Evidence of Promise study throughout the grant cycle. f. Ensure all evaluation activities and reports are completed within the timeline required by MSAP. 3. Ongoing Communication: Engage in regular and ongoing communication with VISD staff regarding the status of current and future work.
