Scope of Services – Specific Requirements: 1. Certifications: Proposers must hold current ASE certifications in diesel and light equipment mechanics. Copies of certifications related to Light-Duty Vehicle Parts and Repair must be submitted with the proposal. The vendor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including DOT safety regulations. 2. Experience and Capacity: The vendor must demonstrate the capacity to supply all parts and perform services outlined in this RFP. Pricing must include all labor, materials, and overhead costs. 3. Tools and Equipment: Proposers must have all necessary tools and equipment to complete vehicle repairs and maintenance. 4. Product Specifications and Equivalents: If offering alternate products or services that deviate from specifications, proposers must RFP # 25-138 2 Light-Duty Vehicle Parts & Repairs provide a clear explanation and demonstrate how the alternative meets or exceeds the reliability and performance of the specified item. Failure to disclose deviations may result in the proposal being rejected. 5. Estimates and Scheduling: The awarded vendor(s) must provide written quotes and estimated timeframes before performing any work on MISD equipment. 6. Ordering Process: All orders must be submitted with a valid MISD Purchase Order. Services cannot begin until an approved purchase order has been issued by the Purchasing Department. 7. Exceptions: Any deviations from the requirements or specifications detailed in this RFP must be explicitly noted in the proposal.
