Angelo State University (ASU) is seeking competitive responses to a Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to find a qualified contractor to provide an integrated library system (ILS) to provide control and access to its library and archival holdings. The ILS must provide efficient workflows in circulation, cataloging, authority, serials control, discovery, acquisition and financial records, electronic resource management, and reporting. It must adhere to library industry and technology standards and best practices, provide staff access to statistical data on both system use and inventory, provide self-service opportunities for patrons, provide access controls to protect patron privacy, and be scalable and adaptable for future growth and needs.
