This requisition is for solicitation of Lead Testing in School and Child Care Program Contract to support TCEQ's efforts in implementation and management of the statewide program to assist participants conduct sampling to test for lead in drinking water. The sampling will be conducted at participating schools and child care facilities as provided by Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation (WIIN) Act, Section 2107: Lead Testing in School and Child Care Program Drinking Water grant. Primary services provided under this Contract include (a) supporting TCEQ’s implementation and management of the statewide program and (b) helping Participants conduct testing for lead in drinking water and implement control measures at their school and child care facilities. The elements of the program fulfilled under this Contract include: i. The administrative and programmatic activities involved in outreach and enrollment, training, lead education, communications, sample collection, sample analysis, response to results of analysis, recommending control measures, providing materials to support recommended control measures, establishing of routine practices, and recordkeeping as required to assist program Participants in successfully completing their local testing program to mitigate lead exposure. ii. Activities supporting TCEQ’s adherence to EPA’s WIIN 2107 Grant Agreement requirements, the LTSCC Program QAPP, and LTSCC Program processes and procedures. iii. Coordination to ensure timely provision of instruction and materials, and ability to respond to Participants questions and concerns. iv. The maintenance and provision of records throughout all stages of the project and delivery of reports as requested.
