The Contractor shall provide specified equipment hereinunder to provide upfit services for the County. Services may include, but not limited to all labor, purchase of equipment, light bars, sirens, radios, antennas, other materials and supplies and any other incidentals to upfit two (2) newly purchased Dodge Durangos. Time is of the essence; the County’s authorized personnel will drop off and pick up vehicles, therefore the maximum radius from the Walker County Constable Precinct 4 address of 9360 Hwy. 75 South, New Waverly, TX 77358 to the Contractor’s place of business shall not exceed 50 miles. The County has the right to inspect the Contractor’s facility before or after award. The Contractor will provide timely notifications and communications to the County’s authorized personnel of all issues. The Contractor will provide, when requested, written notice with suggested solutions. All vehicles must be stored in a secured storage area or building and must be locked when it is not being serviced. The Contractor is responsible for all County vehicles and equipment against damages from vandalism, theft, accident and/or any other circumstances that may imperil or diminish County assets until returned to the County.
