Specifications include, but are not limited to: Perform all work necessary utilizing horticultural standards established by Texas A&M University and as adopted by the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA), Texas Nurseryman & Landscape Association as appropriate to meet DART needs as further specified herein. Such work includes, but it is not limited to the following: 1.2.1 Providing trained, licensed, and certified personnel necessary to meet the staffing and work requirements identified in this Statement of Work 1.2.2 Scheduling, programming, operating, monitoring, adjusting, setting, indexing, backfilling around irrigation heads, repairing, and manually controlling of the landscape irrigation systems 1.2.3 In non-irrigated areas, hand watering of trees, turf, ground cover, containers, shrubs, perennials, ornamental grasses, wildflowers, and annual color beds to provide adequate moisture for the health of plant materials as conditions require 1.2.4 Supplemental hand watering in irrigated areas of trees, turf, ground cover, shrubs, containers, perennials, ornamental grasses, wildflowers, and annual color beds as needed to provide adequate moisture for the health of plant materials 1.2.5 Mowing, edging, and trimming of landscape turf areas 1.2.6 Core aeration, scalping and dethatching of landscape turf areas 1.2.7 Pruning, trimming, and/or shearing of trees, shrubs, ground covers and container planters 1.2.8 Weeding, cultivating, mulching, and cleaning of planting beds 1.2.9 Application of fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides for all landscape areas 1.2.10 Responsible for general site clean-up, removal of trash and products of maintenance in all landscape areas and right-of-way areas 1.2.11 Monitoring and cleaning of drainage system 1.2.12 Draining standpipes at trees and in shrub beds 1.2.13 Biannual color changes during the fall winter spring and summer 1.2.14 Removal of trees smaller than 7" in caliper. 1.2.15 Mulching of shrubs beds with composted mulch
