Amendment 1: The purpose of this amendment is to update the site visit location. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The work covered by this project consists of the Contractor furnishing all layout, survey, plant, labor, supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, machines, tools, appliances, services, supplies, and incidentals and of performing all operations in connection with project FNWZ 25-0137 Landing Zone Tree Removal. The scope of work includes but it is not limited to clearing woody and succulent vegetation, grinding stumps, disposal of all vegetative and non-vegetative debris, backfilling, compacting, cultivating, re-grading, & re-seeding. All work will be performed at Dyess AFB, Texas – with complete and in strict accordance with the SoW, plans, and specifications.
SITE VISIT: An optional site visit will be scheduled at the following location:

Site visit will be on: Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 1PM CDT.
Interested contractors MUST RSVP to cheryl.lynn.1@us.af.mil NLT Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Because of the location of the site visit, if contractors do not RSVP, they will not be allowed on the flight line. If the offeror does not have existing base access, an escort will be provided.
All Contractor must meet at the Dyess AFB Visitor Center NLT 12:30 P.M. CDT on Wednesday, August 27.
QUOTE SUBMISSION INFORMATION: All Quote Submission information is outlined in the Attached Section L & M Document. Offerors are encouraged to read the solicitation, and attachments in their entirety. As outlined in Sections L&M, the following documents must be submitted:
1. Volume 1: Completed Attachment B - Pricing Schedule
2. Volume 2: Technical Approach
3. Volume 3: Past Performance Information
* Quotations must remain valid for a minimum of 90 days from the submission date*
