Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project(s) shall consist of successful Offeror furnishing all qualified services, materials, equipment, facilities, travel, overhead and incidentals necessary for Laboratory Services for Harris County Public Health Services (HCPH). The services to be performed by the Offeror may include, but are not limited to, the following: All clients presenting for an initial, annual, routine follow-up or problem-related visit at the HCPH clinics shall be provided appropriate laboratory tests as indicated by history, Health Risk Assessment (HRA), physical examination and/or clinical assessment. Primarily, the on-site healthcare providers at the HCPH clinics collect the specimen for the laboratory test, however; clients are referred to off-site testing providers during the visit as needed. HCPH clients are also referred to testing providers if clients are a hard stick, which is after two (2) failed attempts. The following laboratory tests and supplies shall be provided to HCPH clinics and performed by the Offeror at their off-site testing locations: • Colorectal cancer screening in people fifty (50) years and older • Cervical cancer screening for females twenty-one (21) years and older • Human Papillomavirus (HPV) screening for female patients who are twenty-one (21) years or older after an initial • Atypical Squamous Cells of Undetermined Significance (ASC-US) Pap result* • Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) screening** • Sexual Transmitted Infections (STI) screening, per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines • Pregnancy test shall be provided on-site • Rubella serology, if status not previously established by client history and documented in chart, either on-site or by referral • Serum Electrophoresis (Protein Electrophoresis) • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) and free T4 • Tuberculosis (TB) Blood Test (T-Spot) • Other labs such as blood glucose, lipid panel, or thyroid stimulating hormone as indicated by HRA, history and physical, either on-site or by referral
