Specifications include, but are not limited to: The enclosure may be either steel frame or self-framing design. Contractor to describe the type of structure frame in the proposal. The enclosure shall not require any structural posts or supports to be permanently installed within the interior of the enclosure without Owner’s approval. The outside enclosure dimensions shall be 24 ft. X 40 ft. (Refer to drawing VK-ELE-6004 and VK-ELE-6005) Estimated weight of completely assembled and equipped enclosure and shipping split drawing are to be included in the proposal, and final weight shall be included on the final certified drawings. All enclosure components and systems shall be designed in accordance with the requirements of ASCE 7-10 and 2012 IBC for the specific site conditions (see shipping address). The enclosure shall be designed for Risk Category IV. Soil at the site is Site Class D. The seismic design parameters, design wind speed, and design ground snow load shall be listed on the drawings. The enclosure shall meet all requirements for labeling and shall pass all reviews and inspections required by the State of Texas, and at no additional cost. The enclosure manufacturer or Contractor shall possess or obtain an Industrialized Builder Registration with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, as required for Industrialized Housing and Buildings. Computations and drawings detailing the enclosure and its components shall be prepared under the supervision of a Professional Engineer. A complete set of computations and drawings, signed and sealed by a Structural Engineer, shall be provided prior to fabrication of the enclosure. The Structural Engineer shall be licensed in the State where the enclosure is installed.
