A. The product must conform to AWWA Standards B403-09, for aluminum sulfate, and B602-8 for copper sulfate, or subsequent updates. B. The aluminum sulfate/copper sulfate blend shall be stable for a minimum of 90 days and not crystallize during feed process. C. Supplied Aluminum Sulfate shall not contain soluble material or organic substances in quantities capable of producing deleterious or injurious effects of the health of those consuming water that has been properly treated with the Aluminum Sulfate/Copper Sulfate blend. D. If the liquid aluminum delivered does not meet specifications, the SUCCESSFUL BIDDER may be required to remove the material from the premises of the AUTHORITY at the SUCCESSFUL BIDDER'S expense unless a price adjustment is agreed upon by the SUCCESSFUL BIDDER and the AUTHORITY. E. AUTHORITY may, at its discretion, request a sample of the product delivered. If requested, the SUCCESSFUL BIDDER'S driver must collect a sample from the truck prior to unloading. The sample shall be collected and analyzed according to AWWA Specifications. F. SUCCESSFUL BIDDER shall provide as a part of the bid price, technical support and laboratory analysis, on an as-needed basis, to determine the effective copper concentration that is actually required.
