Adjust/schedule and repair as needed. • Repair or replace damaged sprinkler heads and nozzles. • Seasonal adjustment: Update irrigation schedules based on seasonal weather changes to ensure efficient water use. • Winterization: Perform system shutdown and winterization procedures in the fall (depending on location). 2. Turf Care • Mowing: Mow all turf areas to a uniform height appropriate for the grass type and season. Alternate mowing patterns to prevent soil compaction and rutting. • Edging: Provide string-trimming and mechanical edging around all hard surfaces, such as sidewalks, curbs, and driveways to maintain a clean and defined appearance. • Trimming: Use trimmers to cut grass in areas inaccessible to mowers, such as around posts, fences, and buildings. • Clipping cleanup: Remove excess grass clippings from all hard surfaces, beds, and other area. 3. Bed and Garden Maintenance • Weeding: Remove all weeds from landscape beds, tree rings, and other planted areas. Apply pre-emergent and/or post-emergent herbicides as needed. • Debris Removal: Clear all leaves, litter, and other debris from beds, walkways, and curbs. • Pruning: Trim and prune shrubs and hedges as needed to maintain their health, shape, and desired height. • Inspection: Monitor plantings for any signs of disease, pests, or stress and report findings to the county representative. • Mulch Grooming: Rake and loosen mulch as needed to maintain a fresh and tidy appearance. 4. Hard Surface and Site Cleanup • Blowing: Use power blowers to clear all walkways, parking lots, and building entrances of leaves and debris after each service visit. • Litter Control: Monitor all landscaped areas for trash and debris and dispose of it appropriately. • Parking Lots/Sidewalks: Remove all weeds and apply herbicide as needed.
