Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this RFP, the County intends on procuring jail diversion services, including identification of need for behavioral health services and the development of needs based interventions and programs. Such programs and/or services include, but are not limited to: Behavioral health services; Professional medical services, including nursing services in temporary living facilities; Self-management programs geared toward self-control, reducing anger/hostility, and developing positive peer relationships; Family Relationships Programs; Supervised living services, including services related to housing stability; Education and Employment Programs focused on obtaining and retaining stable employment, transition services, and services aimed at continuing education or job training; and Substance Use/Sobriety Programs that identify substance abuse needs, encourage sobriety and stabilization, aid in recovery efforts, and overall reduce substance abuse. The above list is not meant to be all-inclusive but instead reflects the type of programs the County intends on implementing in its Jail Diversion Project. The exact services will be negotiated between the County and the successful respondent based on anticipated needs of the County. All services provided under the County’s Jail Diversion Project shall be performed primarily at facilities within the County’s jurisdiction, as identified by the County during contract negotiations.
