This market research notice is being conducted by Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 VHA Regional Procurement Office-West (RPOW) 124 E. Hwy 67 Suite 100 Duncanville Texas 75134 for the procurement of a Preventive and Corrective Maintenance as required for Abiomed Impella Devices. The VA intends to issue a sole source contract to Abiomed 22 Cherry Hill Danvers, MA 01923. Project Description: Vendor must complete preventative maintenance per guidance of the Original Equipment Manufacturer s manual and have all necessary tools and equipment to do so. Vendor must provide new loaner equipment of same make/model when original purchase is having corrective maintenance to prevent excessive equipment downtime. Vendor must complete all required preventative maintenance service between July 1 through July 31 of the contract year in order to remain in compliance with hospital policies. If vendor can not meet the date requirements, loaner equipment of the same make/model shall be provided to the facility on or before July 31st until service is completed with original unit. Vendor must provide all materials required to ship equipment to vendor facility all preventative and corrective maintenance completion. If vendor must come on-site for preventative or corrective maintenance, this shall be communicated with the CO, and a time will be coordinated with the COR for the vendor to come on-site.
