Specifications include, but are not limited to: create a new comprehensive Interpretive Master Plan, to determine what interpretive services and techniques will best communicate the most important stories, ideas, values and meanings of the site to the visiting public, assuring the best and highest use of the site-related collections and available information about site and community-related individuals within the periods of significance outlined in the Interpretive Master Plan, and recommendations for improved and expanded programming, both on site and as outreach, provide recommendation for the development of exhibits to inform the public about the site’s history and significance in meaningful experiences that will relate the site’s importance and relevance to visitor’s experiences today.
