This phase focuses on the strategic planning and initial setup of interior plant displays. 3.1.1.1 Consultation and needs assessment: Meeting with the City of Austin Representative to understand their aesthetic goals, budget, and the specific environmental conditions of the space, including light levels and temperature. 3.1.1.2 Plant and container selection: The service provider selects plant species that will thrive in the indoor environment. It also includes choosing appropriate containers that match the design and aesthetics. 3.1.1.3 Design and layout: The provider creates a design plan for the placement of plants to enhance architectural features and overall visual appeal. 3.1.1.4 Sourcing and delivery: The provider sources high-quality, healthy plants from growers and delivers them to the site for installation. 3.1.1.5 Installation: The team plants the foliage in the selected containers and adds decorative elements like top dressing. 3.1.2 Ongoing maintenance: The scheduled care to keep plants healthy and vibrant. Should be performed on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
