The purpose of this contract is to provide a qualified and experienced Injury Prevention Provider who will provide meta-analysis of historical injury data and development of onsite education, intervention and training program services for Austin Energy employees. Austin Energy intends to establish and implement a comprehensive Injury Prevention Program for its field employees involved in power generation and distribution tasks and activities. The Injury Prevention Program will be available to approximately 400 Austin Energy Employees that fall under the Occupational Athlete category. These employees work throughout the Austin Energy’s service area. Education, intervention and training services include but are not limited to: Work group level intervention of specific injury categories Analysis of workers comp data to establish trends within workgroups Communication with work groups and safety to establish priority interventions Small group training sessions to enhance general strength and wellness Continuation of Return to Work as guided by Austin Energy Return to Work Coordinator Testing of current employees for Functional Capacity examinations Form and conditioning recommendations for meeting Functional Capacity requirements Meta-analysis of historical injury data and development of onsite education, intervention and training program services
